As we all know with the passage of time between training initiatives, the level of employee awareness of the risk of money laundering and financing of terrorism decreases. With this in mind, between the 2nd - 5th May, Comsure in association with CLBS, its training partner in Mauritius, will be delivering 4 half day workshops that consider the following:

• AML Refresher Training - 17th July - All Employees
• AML for the Board - 18th July - Senior Management and Directors
• AML for Compliance and the MLRO - 19th July - Compliance and Risk
• AML Risks associated with SAR's - 20th July - All delegate types

The utilisation of the above is aimed to maintain a high level of awareness that can greatly enhance the effectiveness of a relevant person’s defences against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

DAY 1 - AML REFRESHER TRAINING - ALL EMPLOYEES

Mauritius has enacted AM/CFT legislation, to deal with money laundering and terrorist activities and against these enactments ALL EMPLOYEES should have regular training to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities as well as their personal liabilities.

This 3 hour refresher course is targeted at individuals who have a good basic knowledge of the Mauritian Anti-Money Laundering regime and attendance will satisfy the regulatory requirement on the firm to ensure their staff are regularly updated on all these matters.
